Who we are

In the beginning….

We were founded by Mary Louise "Mother" Morgan and officially became a 501(c)3 non-profit on March 28, 1984, signed by (then) Secretary of State, George Firestone.  We were originally named Freedom Seven Senior Citizens Community Center.

Now, over 40 years later, we are still the local, grassroots, non-profit with the same mission statement: "to provide wellness, educational, social and recreational activities (primarily) for seniors in Cocoa Beach, Cape Canaveral, Merritt Island", but open to adults of all ages and from all areas.

We are staffed by a part-time Executive Director, Nicole Sahr-Downey LPN and several volunteers.
